I am continuing to focus on water this year, hoping to gain confidence in this area. Here is a photo from our kayaking trip in May. I completed the painting in June 2024, and it was quite a challenge.

I’m quite happy with this painting. If I did it again, I would lighten the clouds a bit. However, I am pleased with the appearance of the forest in the background. McKenzie River OR at Belknap

The McKenzie River in Oregon is truly stunning. This is my attempt to capture some of its beauty. I took this photo at Belknap Hot Springs, where the McKenzie River flows right next to the campground and hot springs. We recently bought a Ford Transit Van for our travels and camping adventures. Below, you can see our van superimposed onto my painting. Many exciting trips await us!
