Good Afternoon everyone. I’m excited to show my newest complete piece. It is Kayak Girl. She was quite a challene as she kept looking like she was laying in the Kayak. In the end, I was able to figure it out. When I look at her I long for the summer when we can kayak again. It is one of my most relaxing activities. Wishing everyone a relaxing Tuesday.
It has been awhile since I was in the studio. I’m hoping to get back there this coming week. I need to create everyday. It’s just somedays the body pain from the Fibromyalgia is just too overwhelming. Here is what I’m currently working on. Not the best photo, but you get the idea. I’m excited to get it finished. 🙂
This is a review of the artwork I created in 2023. Most of these pieces are displayed in my studio or given as gifts. If you are interested in an original work, this will give you an idea of my varied artistic style. Please note that none of these pieces are available for purchase at this time. Here is a peak into my studio time. I’m in and out all day long, as much as the chronic pain from Fibromyalgia will allow. Teaching was my life. It has been 19 months since my diagnosis and loss of a lifetime career. Painting allows me to put all that aside and be in control of my art. This is helpful when I have no power over my pain.
